This sport was originally created for sighthounds, mainly Salukis and quite often runs were set up in the desert. It has developed into a fun and fast way for all breeds to do what their ancestors did hundreds of years ago...........run free and chase 'game'. These days though, that 'game' is actually a couple of plastic bags attached to the lure line.
The course can be challenging with tight turns and lure lines criss crossing over the field but a dog who is focused and determined will put their all into catching that lure.
The name of the game is FUN. We want our dogs to go out there and enjoy themselves!!
